Project 4

My inspiration for the business cards was something that would be related to the logo as well as the business itself. I wanted it to be really simple that complimented the text on the opposite side. I used fonts that had a similar ‘battle’ theme so that it would conform with the overall theme. I used inspiration from my logos to incorporate colors and shapes into the back of my business cards.

My inspiration for my logo design was something simplistic, yet captured the ideology of the targeted company. I wanted something that was in relation to Nerf guns and colors that would target the appropriate age of the customers. I was inspired by orange, a bright color that is used with Nerf guns and a contrasting color to make it look neat, as well as dramatic. My inspiration was mostly inspired by the word “battlefield” in the company’s name as well as my own experiences with lazer tag including bright colors and different fonts used.

My inspiration for this project was portraying one of my favorite animals, the owl. I admire how majestic they are and I believe the poem is as majestic as the animal itself. I was inspired by the poem because it tells a story with great imagery, which correlated with my image perfectly. I wanted to do an owl with simplistic curves, yet an image that demonstrated the beauty and overall shape of the animal.

My inspiration for this project was home. I am from Colorado and I am always inspired by the picturesque nature when I’m there. I thought it would be interesting to include the Colorado flag, as well as some fundamental elements of Colorado’s landscape within the flag. This flag represents the state’s beauty as well as my passion for Colorado.
